Deftones have announced the latest beer to bear their name, a pale ale in honor of their most recent album, Ohms, which finds the group once again collaborating with the brewers at Belching Beaver.
The beer will arrive in select U.S. markets on February 1. Here’s a description of what fans can expect from the brewery:
“Announcing our latest Deftones x Belching Beaver collaboration, and the newest member of our collection: Ohms Pale Ale. This new recipe blends citrus notes with lemon peel and light pine, providing a more nuanced and complex flavor than your standard pale ale. 16oz. 4-packs will be available on February 1 for a limited time in select U.S. cities. More details, including nearest distributor locations, can be found at belchingbeaver.com upon its release.”
Previous collaborations between Deftones and Belching Beaver include the Phantom Bride IPA, White Pony Double Dry Hopped IPA, Swerve City POG IPA (passion, orange, guava), and Good Morning Beautiful Brown Ale.
Deftones released their ninth studio album, Ohms, last year, as well as Black Stallion, a 20th anniversary tribute to White Pony featuring remixes of every song on the classic album reimagined by a different artist. The band’s 2020 tour with Gojira and Poppy was rescheduled to 2021.
