Charlotte, North Carolina rapper Mavi has released a new EP titled End of the Earth. It features five new songs that deal with themes of gun violence in Mavi’s hometown, the awkward stages of growth, success, and more. Check it out below.
“End Of the earth is about humanity exhausting the home that doubles as its plaything, me unlearning desire and the longest walk ever,” Mavi says of his new EP in a press release. The record follows the young rapper and neuroscience student’s most recent full-length release Let the Sun Talk.
Last year, Mavi and Masssai joined forces on the track “fire alarm (!).” Read our Rising feature, “Mavi Is Making Introverted Rap for Black Liberation.”
