Daniel Caesar Earns New Platinum Certifications

Daniel Caesar has more plaques to add to his collection from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

The Canadian singer’s 2016 single “Japanese Denim” has been certified platinum by the RIAA with over one million units sold. That’s not the only certification he earned. “Get You” featuring Kali Uchis is now 3x multi-platinum.

In January, his Grammy-winning duet with H.E.R., “Best Part,” became 4x multi-platinum.

“Get You” and “Best Part” are lifted from Caesar’s debut album, Freudian, which released in 2017. The gold-selling album was among Rated R&B’s Top 10 R&B Albums of 2017 list. It was also nominated for Best R&B Album at the 61st Grammy Awards.

Casear has been relatively quiet on the music front. In 2019, he released his CASE STUDY 01 EP, which featured his Grammy-nominated hit “Love Again” with Brandy.
