We are just days away from Billie Eilish finally releasing her new documentary The World’s A Little Blurry. Now, it looks like Eilish has plenty of festivities in store for the premiere of the highly-anticipated film.

This week, Eilish announced she is hosting a The World’s A Little Blurry livestream event. For the virtual show, Eilish will be giving a stripped-down performance and will be sitting down for an exclusive conversation. However, there are only a few ways fans will be able to watch the entire event.

On Feb. 26, Billie Eilish’s new documentary The World’s A Little Blurry finally hits Apple TV+. Rumors of the documentary first surfaced back in October 2019 when Eilish was on tour. The vocalist was seen being followed around by a video crew, hinting that a new project was on the way.

Then, in September 2020, Eilish finally confirmed that a documentary was in the works. The World’s A Little Blurry reportedly wasn’t cheap for Apple. According to reports, the documentary is part of a $25 million deal with Eilish.

After unveiling the first trailer in December, and the second earlier this month, fans learned that The World’s A Little Blurry offers an intimate look inside Eilish’s life as she rose to fame over the years. In fact, the documentary is so personal, Eilish didn’t want to watch the first screening with her family.

“We were in my living room,” she said. “I was like, ‘Nope, nobody’s allowed to see it – not my family – nobody’s allowed to see it until I’ve seen it, cos I knew there was some stuff in there that I was gonna be mortified by.’”

Now, it looks like Eilish is preparing for the entire world to finally see the film. Ahead of the documentary’s release, Eilish is hosting a The World’s A Little Blurry livestream event on Thursday, Feb. 25.

The virtual event, which is hosted by Apple Music and Zane Lowe, will include an exclusive live performance from Eilish. As well, both the film’s director R.J. Culter and Eilish will be sitting down for some new tell-all interviews.

The livestream kicks off at 6 P.M. PT / 9 P.M. ET and will be available to stream for free through the Apple TV app, Apple Music app and Eilish’s YouTube page. Then, The World’s A Little Blurry will debut on Apple TV+ for subscribers immediately after the livestream event. Additionally, the new documentary hits select theaters on Feb. 26.

On Monday, Eilish offered a glimpse into the upcoming documentary with her dynamic live performance of “ilomilo.” The track appears on her Grammy Award-winning album WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP WHERE DO WE GO?.

Last month, Eilish told Vanity Fair that filming The World’s A Little Blurry was very difficult for her at times.

“It’s really about my life, me, in such a way that I was not expecting, and was pretty brutal to relive,” she said. “I was going through hell in certain parts of my life, and I had no idea anyone was seeing it. The fact that they have footage of it and you can see my emotions…”

Back in December, Eilish hinted that her next musical era is beginning after the film’s debut. Shortly after, she seemingly confirmed just how many songs are on her forthcoming sophomore album.

So far, Eilish has unveiled a few previews of her new music. Back in July, she debuted her emotional single “my future” along with an animated video. Then, in November, she treated fans to her carefree video for “Therefore I Am.”

More recently, she dropped her highly-anticipated collaboration with Rosalía Lo Vas A Olvidar” which premiered during a new episode of Euphoria. The tracks follow up 2019’s “everything i wanted” as well as her James Bond theme “No Time To Die.”
