Kiana Ledé Joins THEY. on New Track ‘Count Me In’

R&B duo THEY. has tapped Kiana Ledé for an official remix to “Count Me In,” lifted from their second album, The Amanda Tape

Ledé comes in on the second verse with sultry lyrics. “You can come over / Bendin’ me over, you can do all the tricks / Not moving along, baby, it’s long / / But you know what it is,” she sings over the guitar-laden tune.

“‘Count Me In’ was one of our favorite songs off The Amanda Tape and we always wanted to make a version that had a female response to it. We’ve known Kiana for a minute and have been fans of everything she’s been doing on her own. She sent over her verse and instantly had pushed the record into a whole new light,” THEY. said in a joint statement.

This song is about finding the right person that’s going to ride with you through thick and thin, no matter what stage you are at in the relationship. We wanted to create a dope visual that could convey that ride or die dynamic.”

Ledé added, “I am honored to be on this badass remix, so excited for the fans to see this side of Kiki.”

In an interview with Rated R&B, Dante Jones said THEY. wanted to bring something fresh to the R&B landscape on The Amanda Tape. “I think that with this project, we want to kind of challenge the current model of what R&B is. I feel like right now, there’s a lot of really dope R&B artists but sonically, it can all kind of start to run together a little bit to where it’s kind of a vibe-y trap-y [sound].”
