Drake Working ‘Overtime’ on ‘Certified Lover Boy,’ May Drop Something This Week

CLB season is approaching.

After much anticipation, it appears that Drake is gearing up to drop new music. DJ Akademiks says he spoke with the 6 God himself who gave him an update on his long-awaited album Certified Lover Boy.

He is apparently shooting several music videos and something could drop as soon as this week. “prollly drop something this week. The Goat is back. Aubrey Champagne Papi Drake Graham,” tweeted Akademiks.

A song called “What’s Next” leaked over the weekend, but Akademiks says it’s only a “warm up ting.” He added that Drake is working “overtime creating this next masterpiece.”

Just last week, Akademiks suggested that CLB would arrive by April. “Drake told me that it’s gonna be dropping before April,” he said. “So he’s not waiting until summer to drop his shit…April, or before.”

The follow-up to 2018’s Scorpion was previously due in January, but Drake announced that it was delayed because he was still recovering from surgery.

“He spent so much time on this project. He’s not trying to put out a surprise project. He’s gonna let people know at least a week before,” claimed Akademiks.
