Emmure Release Thundermouth Comic Book

Emmure have released a “limited edition graphic novel” called Eternal Episode One: Thundermouth, after their song, “Thunder Mouth.” Why one iteration of the title has a space between words and the other does not is unclear.

The comic “features hand drawn illustrations and bonus concept artwork.” Only 100 will be made.

The band has not said who wrote or illustrated the book.

You can check out a preview below, and purchase a copy here. No word on when Eternal Episode Two will be released.

An animated, Frankie Nasso-directed music video for “Thunder Mouth” was released last year. You can view that at the bottom of this post.

In November, Emmure abruptly shut down their Patreon page a mere six months after its launch. At the time, frontman Frankie Palmeri said that “for many reasons and it just became impossible to follow through with content.” He did not address claims that fans hadn’t been notified of the deactivation and may still be paying their monthly Patreon subscription fee.

A year prior,  Palmeri began contacting followers on social media soliciting “donations” of $100 each in exchange for “free VIP and guest list spots at future shows plus exclusive merch items both at our shows and online.”
