Donell Jones knows that what goes around, comes around in his new video “Karma (Payback).”
Directed by G Visuals, Jones figures out that his girl has been unfaithful.
On a night out on the town, he confides and finds comfort in his friends, including fellow R&B singers Carl Thomas and RL (of Next). The video takes us through Jones’ hometown of Chicago, as he experiences the demise of his failed relationship. His ex doesn’t really want things to end but Jones refuses to deal with being mistreated any longer.
The quintessential performance shots in the street paired with a straightforward storyline bring a nostalgic element to the visual.
“Karma (Payback)” is featured on Jones’ new album 100% Free, released last month.
