Ten is Tank‘s lucky number. As the R&B general prepares to release his tenth studio album this summer, he picks up his tenth top 10 single on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart.
In its fourth week on the airplay-based chart, “Can’t Let It Show,” the still-untitled album’s lead single, has shot up six spots to the No. 10 position.
His last best high was in December 2019 when “I Don’t Think You’re Ready” peaked at No. 3. Earlier that same year, Tank struck his fourth number-one match on this chart with “Dirty.”
The triple threat first entered the top 10 circle on the Adult R&B Songs chart in April 2001 with the fan-favorite “Maybe I Deserve.” Its high point was the No. 5 spot. Nearly six years later, Tank seized his inaugural chart-topper with “Please Don’t Go.”
Changing the subject, Tank will be making more strides in the acting world next month. Along with Keri Hilson, he will star in the Lifetime made-for-television film Lust: A Deadly Sins Saga. It debuts on April 17 at 8 p.m. ET.
