King Crimson guitarist Robert Fripp and his wife, the actress and singer Toyah Willcox, have unveiled the latest entry in their “Sunday Lunch” series of cover videos that have captured the Internet’s attention in recent weeks.
The duo’s latest video finds the pair covering Iron Maiden’s 1982 anthem “The Number of the Beast.” In keeping with her theme of flamboyant outfits, this clip finds Toyah wearing a bunny costume and holding carrots in honor of Easter. The same masked special guest guitar player who appeared in last week’s video makes his return in this one (identified at the end of the video as “Sidney Jake — anyone know who that is?).
Previous entries in Fripp and Wilcox’s “Sunday Lunch” series include:
Mötley Crüe’s “Girls, Girls, Girls”
Metallica’s “Enter the Sandman” (how they wrote it)
Billy Idol’s “Rebel Yell”
Guns N’ Roses’ “Welcome to the Jungle”
Joan Jett’s “I Love Rock ‘N’ Roll”
Alice Cooper’s “Poison”
Foo Fighters’ “Everlong” (with special guest snake)
Brittney Spears’ “Toxic”
Motörhead’s “Ace of Spades”
ZZ Top’s “Gimme All Your Lovin’”
