Otis Kane Shares His ‘Sweet Sensation’ on New Song

Otis Kane isn’t slowing down. Just two months after releasing his Growing Pains EP, the singer-songwriter returns with a new track titled “Sweet Sensation.”

Over a funky bassline that is paired with Kane’s soothing vocals, he details the passionate feeling of being around his love interest. “I get a sweet sensation / Yeah, when I’m talkin’ to you / So don’t keep me waitin’ / Know what I’m tryna do,” he sings.

“This is a special song to me because it’s the first single from my upcoming full-length album,” Kane explained.

“In this song, I’m describing that feeling you get when you meet someone so special that you just have to be around them. We’ve all experienced that. When someone is just so bright and vibrant—being in their presence makes you feel good. That’s the ‘Sweet Sensation.’”

Kane has also shared a video for “Sweet Sensation,” which was directed by Roman Koval. Set at an empty nightclub, Kane performs the feel-good song for his leading lady (played by Mónica Astacio).

Kane’s debut album will follow his two EPs Therapy and Growing Pains. In an interview with Rated R&B, the Los Angeles native shared the meaning behind each song on the latter project.
