Watch: Teenage Metal Band Hammerhedd KILL it in New Video, “Foundation”

You may remember Hammerhedd from when we wrote about them in 2016 and 2018, always with glowing words, some of the band’s members still pre-teens at the time. But either way, 2021 finds the group — a three-piece consisting of kids aged 19, 17 and 14 — absolutely crushing and only getting better with age.

I don’t mean “they’re good for their age” in an awww cute kinda way… these kids are actually very very good. They just released their debut album, Grand Currents, and now they’ve unveiled a music video for the track “Foundation,” which again finds them channeling bigtime Gojira and Morbid Angel energy. I can only hope my kids grow up to rock this hard, but I’d even settle for them digging the same music I do!

Give “Foundation” a watch below. And lest you think there’s any kind of trickery involved, watch this live performance from a couple years ago and you’ll instantly know that’s not the case.
