Queen Naija and Ari Lennox Release ‘Set Him Up’ Video

Revenge is always sweeter when you have a partner in crime. Queen Naija and Ari Lennox prove this in the supporting video for their new song “Set Him Up.”

For the Val Vega-directed video, the two singers borrow the phone call scene from the classic video for “The Boy Is Mine” by Brandy and Monica.

Following their juicy conversation about their respective men, the two eventually discover that their men are the same man and come up with the perfect scheme to get him back. It involves tying him up with rope and duct-taping his mouth shut.

The majority of the video includes intercut beauty shots of Lennox and Naija apart and together.

“Set Him Up” was released as the first single from Missunderstood…Still, the deluxe edition of her debut album, out April 16 via Capitol Records. It includes six new songs and the “Butterflies Pt. 2 (Remix)” featuring Wale.

One of the new tracks will be the fan-requested, “Supa Vibe,” produced by Hitmaka.
