D-Nice Earns First Top 10 R&B Single on Billboard

D-Nice, who was dubbed Entertainer of the Year at this year’s NAACP Image Awards, has every reason to cut a rug this week. “No Plans for Love,” featuring Ne-Yo and Kent Jones, has booked its first week in the top 10 on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart, placing at No. 9 on the audience-based chart. This is a five-slot move from last week.

The dance floor beckon builds a strong presence on R&B radio and gets major play at 82 core stations with a target listener reach of over five million.

D-Nice relished in the good news about “No Plans” on Instagram, thanking all fans and radio stations for bumping what some may consider a solid contender for this year’s song of the summer.

“No Plans for Love” is clocking more than 1.3 million listens on Spotify and is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon, especially not with the Snoop Dogg-assisted remix out too. Listen to it here

Currently, “No Plans For Love” has yet to be attached to a future D-Nice project. His last album, To Da Rescue, was released in 1991.
