PJ Morton, BJ The Chicago Kid, Kenyon Dixon and Charlie Bereal Share ‘Bring It on Home to Me’

PJ Morton, BJ The Chicago Kid, Kenyon Dixon and Charlie Bereal have joined forces to honor soul icon Sam Cooke, with their rendition of “Bring it on Home to Me.”

The accompanying James McShane-directed video, set in a Los Angeles motel room, shows the four artists delivering a soul-stirring rendition of Cooke’s 1962 classic.

The track was originally recorded for one of BJ’s latest projects (as a duet between BJ and PJ), yet it fits the ambiance of Regina King’s hit film One Night in Miami as the crooners channel the artistry of Sam Cooke through song.

“Bring It on Home to Me” is PJ Morton’s first effort since his Grammy-winning gospel record Gospel According to PJ, which he spoke about with Rated R&B in a recent interview.

The track is BJ’s latest in a string of collaborations, including “I Believe” with Joy Denalane and K. Roosevelt’s “Bloom (Remix).”
