Joyner Lucas Drops ‘Ramen & OJ’ with Lil Baby

Joyner Lucas is back with another one.

After dropping his Evolution project last fall, the Massachusetts MC returns with his first release of 2021. On “Ramen & OJ,” Joyner links up with Lil Baby as they take a trip down memory lane.

On the introspective track, Joyner journeys back to the past. “You gon’ turn me back into the old me / You gon’ turn me back into a savage / I done did shit you couldn’t imagine,” he raps while Baby reflects on his come-up: “I could never go back to the bottom / Sellin’ drugs, never know when the cops come / Ni**as jealous, they wanted to rob us / I was just tryna get me some dollars.”

Last year, Joyner released his album ADHD, which was followed by his Evolution project featuring collaborations with The Game, Rick Ross, and Ashanti.

Lil Baby continues his prolific output. Fresh off his “On Me (Remix)” with Megan Thee Stallion, he can be heard on two tracks off DJ Khaled’s new album Khaled Khaled, “I Did It” and “Body in Motion.”
