June’s Diary Releases New Single ‘Maniac’

June’s Diary is back. The R&B quintet has issued their new single “Maniac,” produced by B.O.P and co-written by Kristal Smith (of June’s Diary), Dee Roze and Crystal Carr.

The kiss-off anthem centers around the idea of a man actively seeking a relationship with a woman who he is not ready for. Now that her feelings have been toyed with she pays him no mind causing him to behave like a maniac.

“One of our favorite things about being in a group is being able to pull from all of our individual influences,” June’s Diary said in a joint statement. “With ‘Maniac’ we wanted to create a record with energy, something that felt good and had a good vibe, especially after the last few months.”

“Maniac” is the first offering from June Diary’s forthcoming EP that is due this summer.

Speaking on their upcoming EP, June’s Diary said, “Our new project will feature tracks inspired and driven by each member — a little piece of each of our worlds.”

Last fall, they released “Way Off,” which was the first song they wrote together.
