Gospel music trailblazer, actress and newly-wed Kierra Sheard–Kelly can now add author to her many list of accomplishments with the release of her debut book titled; “Owning The Women God Made You to Be, Big, Bold and Beautiful.”
In the book, Sheard-Kelly shares her hard-won advice on body positivity, spiritual self-care, goal setting, finding your joy, living boldly in faith, and empowering you to grab the life you’re meant to lead.
ThisIsRnB’s hosts Kadeja and Qyiana had the absolute pleasure of chatting with such a genuine aura and loving spirit Kierra Sheard-Kelly as she discussed her book; “Owning The Women God Made You to Be- Big, Bold & Beautiful,” her incredible experience working the icon Missy Elliott and DJ Camper and of course her incomparable legendary mother, Karen Clark Sheard. She spoke about her experience being a part of the groundbreaking Lifetime Network biopic ‘The Clark Sisters: First Ladies of Gospel” and how her mother felt the performance depiction of her in the movie.
Sheard-Kelly recently released a deluxe edition of her self titled #1 Billboard album, and she spoke about her passion toward Gospel “I would love for the world to see that when you say Gospel its not a small thing, we’re actually very big.”
