Masego has booked a few more nights at his relaxing villa, releasing the deluxe edition of last year’s Studying Abroad. The Extended Stay version is a suitcase of all six songs from the resorting EP, including the D’Mile-produced “Passport” and the taunting “Bye Felicia.”
The sensual shapeshifter orders five new songs from room service. One of them is “Smith & Westin,” a progressive spaghetti western groove that features TeaMarrr. The two are causing a stir in the middle of town, squaring off with their respective firearms.
“Well Traveled” takes a parental cue from Nicki Minaj as he gets in his braggadocious bag about being a socialite. Another addition is the TrapHouseJazz remix of “Mystery Lady,” which first appeared on the Studying Abroad project in November 2020. It featured Don Toliver as well.
Most notably, last month, Masego earned his first-ever platinum certification for the FKJ-assisted track “Tadow.” Weeks prior, he appeared on Elhae’s Aura III project.
