Vivian Green returns the spotlight on her most recent album Love Absolute with the official video for “Where You Are.”
The visual, directed by Derek Blanks, begins with Green cooing to the moon in the window of a cozy bedroom. When the day breaks, she is still singing to herself about a romance she describes as a teenage love affair.
“Where You Are” is the first song from Green’s follow-up to 2017’s VGVI to receive video treatment. Ahead of her new album, she issued other tracks, including the soaring “You Send Me” and Ghostface Killah-assisted “Light Up.”
“It’s gentle, tough, regretful, sexy, honest, loving and gives fans a look into my life,” said Green about Love Absolute. “It also conveys self-love; love of my people; love of jazz; love of my privacy; and love of love. I haven’t made an album this honest in some years.”
