Weeks ago, R&B veteran Kenny Lattimore applied the “Pressure” with new music. This week he has returned with the song’s accompanying visual.
Directed by Kauwuane Burton, the intimate video is formed from varying performance scenes. It opens with a somber Lattimore in a modern house, laying across a couch singing into the camera. He makes his rounds around the home before he, styled in a dabber suit, serves up a mainstage shot in a studio draped in red lighting.
Speaking on the video, Lattimore stated, “We thought about capturing performances that reflected two personas of Kenny Lattimore. We see the man at home and the performer on stage. Kauwuane kept the performance shots simple, clean and intimate.”
“Pressure” is Lattimore’s first release since 2017’s, Vulnerable. His ninth proper album included songs like the top 10 R&B hit “Stay on Your Mind” and the earnest “Push.”
