Listen to ‘Big Femme Energy, Vol. 1’ Album Featuring Kiana Ledé, Baby Rose, Sinéad Harnett and More

Since 2019, Femme It Forward, through collaboration with Live Nation, has led the charge when it comes to bringing women in music together for unified endeavors. Their efforts to put ladies first continue with the release of Big Femme Energy, Vol. 1, a new project with all-female appearances, both as the performing artist and handlers behind the boards.

Women in R&B have a place on the album, seeing vocal contributions from Kiana Ledé, Baby Rose, Sinéad Harnett, Muni Long, and Ambré. Other guest superstars include Rapsody, Tierra Whack, Tayla Parx, Lauren Jauregui, and many more.

According to a press release, the album is guided by songs of “affirmations of self-empowerment, autonomy and strength.” It is also a time to celebrate women from different eras that have impacted their careers, said Heather Lowery, Executive Producer of Big Femme Energy

Big Femme Energy is an expression of the unique duality of power and delicacy. It’s about family, love, sisterhood and the experiences that connect us as women. It celebrates the power, and achievements of women and girls, while sharing stories of insecurities, vulnerabilities and navigating mistakes, which every young woman can feel empowered by. It pays homage to those who came before us while paying it forward to those who will come after us,” said Lowery.

In addition to Lowery serving as EP, Annie Bercy (Video Director), Katherine Realpe (BTS Director), Marcella “Ms. Lago Araica (Mixing Engineer), and Piper Payne (Master Engineer) contribute to the album.

A portion of the proceeds from all album sales will go to Next Gem Femme, the annual mentorship program fronted by Femme It Forward that works toward enhancing the future of women of color by providing them with access and opportunities.
