Twenty years ago, Maxwell released his third studio album Now via Columbia Records. To celebrate this milestone, the R&B legend has released a digital remaster of the LP, as well as two EPs: Get to Know Ya and Lifetime. Both EPs include a variety of rare mixes for listening pleasure.
“Thank you to the many who came to this album and accepted it for what it was and not what they expected it to be,” Maxwell shared on Instagram.
Released on August 21, 2001, Now earned Maxwell his first number-one album on the Billboard 200 chart. The 11-track LP included “Lifetime,” which was nominated for Best Male R&B Performance at the 44th Grammy Awards,” and his cover of Kate Bush’s “This Woman’s Work.”
