Swedish House Mafia and The Weeknd Team Up on ‘Moth to a Flame’

Before he drops his new album, The Weeknd keeps the vibes coming.

The XO crooner teams up with Swedish House Mafia on the group’s new single “Moth to a Flame.” Over the intoxicating dance floor anthem, Abel adds his haunting vocals.

“Like a moth to a flame / I’ll pull you in, I’ll pull you back to / What you need initially,” he sings on the synth-heavy track. “It’s just one call away / And you’ll leave him, you’re loyal to me / But this time I’ll let you be.”

The Weeknd recently revealed that his new album, the follow-up to 2020’s After Hours, is complete and awaiting “a couple characters that are key to the narrative.”

He has also canceled his “After Hours Tour” and announced a stadium tour called “After Hours Til Dawn,” which is set to kick off next summer.

“Moth to a Flame” is set to appear on Swedish House Mafia’s upcoming album Paradise Again, which has already spawned the singles “It Gets Better” and “Lifetime” featuring Ty Dolla Sign and 070 Shake. The group will headline Coachella next April along with Travis Scott and Rage Against the Machine.
