Singer-songwriter Muni Long has enlisted Ann Marie for her new track “No R&B.”
For the song’s lyricism, the genre’s two emerging voices choose violence over a serene mid-tempo production. Long sings about how she’ll beat up whoever decides to go after her unavailable man. Marie effortlessly matches this energy, fighting for respect, signaling groupies not to send checks they can’t cash.
“No R&B” arrived with an accompanying visual featuring the two coming together to get back at the woman vying for their man’s attention. An abduction happens along with tons of ’90s-style choreography. You’ll have to see what all goes down in the video above.
Long and Marie both released music earlier this year. Long’s recent EP, Nobody Knows, came out this summer, featuring Yung Bleu and Sukihana. She also collaborated with rising rap sensation Monaleo on “Bald Head Bitch” ahead of her Lights On Festival set.
Marie recently released the deluxe version of her latest project, Hate Love. She is currently embarking on the nationwide Moon Boy Tour with Bleu.
