Ciara celebrated her birthday with a private party for two.
In honor of her 36th birthday on Monday (Oct. 25), the singer’s husband Russell Wilson surprised his wife by renting out the Seattle Space Needle for a romantic date night.
After taking an elevator ride to the top, the birthday girl entered to a room filled with roses, candles, and the sounds of Sade. Gold balloons spelled out “I love you” before the couple sat down to dinner and a screening of Ciara’s favorite show, “The Crown.”
“Wow Babe @DangeRussWilson Thank You for loving me the way you do!” Ciara wrote while sharing video from the beautiful evening. “I didn’t have much growing up, but I can say I had a lot of love. That feeling made me feel like I could conquer the world. That’s how you make me feel. Like a little girl all over again. I love you so much!”
The Seattle Seahawks quarterback dedicated a touching tribute to his wife on Instagram.
“Perfect in every way. God made you for me. He made you to fit perfectly in my arms. Made you to be the amazing woman and mother you are,” he captioned the photo slideshow. “God made you to entertain the world with your gift to sing & dance! He gifted you with the ability to Tilt the room.. when you walk in ALL the furniture slides towards you. He gifted you with the ability to smile and bring joy to ALL things! Gifted you with the ability to LOVE. Happy Birthday my Queen @Ciara Heaven sent!”
Ciara also received birthday wishes from friends including Nicki Minaj, Kim Kardashian, Vanessa Bryant, Jennifer Hudson, and Monica.
The couple, who shares three children, celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in July. They are working on a children’s book, Why Not You?, which will be released next March.
