Moses Sumney has released a new song called “In Bloom (In the Woods)” that reimagines and strips down his græ track “In Bloom.” It’s taken from Live From Blacklachia, his upcoming album and film capturing a one-take performance in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, that’s due out December 10. Check it out below.

Sumney’s most recent album, græ, came out in 2020. Since then, he’s teamed up with Hypnotic Brass Ensemble for the track “Soon It Will Be Fire” and Little Dragon on the single “The Other Lover.”
