“The Killing Womb” is a ferocious example of Vein.fm’s dark style of metallic hardcore, but it’s also full of early 2000s alt-metal and industrial influences. The horror-movie visuals underscore the effect of the frantic drums and guitar.
This World Is Going To Ruin You follows 2018’s Errorzone and is set for a March 4 release via Closed Casket Activities. The album was recorded with Grammy-winning producer Will Putney at Graphic Nature Audio back in April 2020.
Anthony DiDio described in a press release how the new album follows the human condition from birth to death. He also discussed his hope for This World Is Going To Ruin You.
“I was coming from a very anti-social mentality,” DiDio says. “I want people to completely disconnect and have their own personal journey through this album.”
