“Love It When You Hate Me” stays true to Lavigne‘s pop-punk roots as she and blackbear sing together: “Don’t call me baby/I love it when you hate me/I know it’s crazy/I love it when you hate me/The highs the lows the yes, the no’s/You’re so hot when you get cold.”

Earlier this week, Lavigne announced Love Sux is due out Feb. 25 via Travis Barker‘s DTA Records. The record also features Machine Gun Kelly and blink-182‘s Mark Hoppus.

Lavigne posted a video of her rocking out to the new single on Twitter shortly following the drop.
