Stabbing Westward Drop New Song, “Ghost”

Industrial rockers Stabbing Westward have released a new single, “Ghost,” from their forthcoming first full-length album in 20 years, Chasing Ghosts, arriving in March. The first single, “I Am Nothing,” dropped in November.

Stabbing Westward’s last album, a self-titled affair, came out in 2001. The band released the Dead and Gone EP of new originals in 2020 as well as a covers EP, Hallowed Hymns.

Chasing Ghosts finds original founding members Christopher Hall (vocals/guitar) and Walter Flakus (keyboards/programming) collaborating on brand new songs as well as re-workings of the tracks from Dead and Gone.

The “Ghost” single also features remixes of the track by the band’s own Christopher Hall and Assemblage 23, as well as a re-worked version of their 1996 track “Why.”

Listen to “Ghost” below. Chasing Ghosts will come out on March 18 via COP International Records.
