Omarion Covers The Beatles’ ‘With a Little Help From My Friends’

Omarion is contributing new material in the form of a remake. The multi-platinum selling artist unleashes an unexpected cover of The Beatles’ 1967 track, “With a Little Help from My Friends,” that he packages in two versions.

The first edition, described as the Poppin Mix, charges Omarion’s voice with a lively and wired utterance, turning it into an easy dance groove.

On the Soul Mix, Omarion slows down the tempo, flexing his soulful muscles in a way that he hasn’t been heard before.

When discussing the creation of the last mix, Omarion tagged and shouted out the producer of both, Greg Curtis Sr., saying, “Thank You @gregcurtis for making this sound so sweet and eargasmic.”

The new covers start a new music cycle for Omarion, who last starred on Summer Walker’s hit album Still Over it and collaborated with Bow Wow and Souja Boy for “Ex.”

Omarion’s original music is still on the horizon as he continues to prep for the release of Passport, his first proper album since 2014’s Sex Playlist.

In 2020, he kept fans occupied with The Kinection, the soundtrack featured and inspired by a documentary for his 2019 Millennium Tour experience.
