As an early Valentine’s Day treat, Kem returns to the hearts of his fans with the new song “Stuck On You.”
Proving that he’s still a force to be reckoned with when it comes to love songs, Kem counts out all the ways his special lady has been a beacon light in his life. So much that he can truly be himself and surrender his mind, body, and soul to her even when he’s experiencing a rough patch.
“We be making love til the morning / Can’t you hear the raindrops falling / In your tenderness / And even when my world is spinning / I got a brand new beginning / When I feel your kiss,” he sings in the second verse.
Kem’s “Stuck On You” will impact R&B radio on Tuesday, Feb. 8. His last single to make a splash on that format was “Live Out Your Love” with Toni Braxton. It peaked at No. 1 on the R&B charts, giving him and Braxton the first number-one single of 2021 at Billboard Adult R&B.
The single, which he said to Rated R&B adopted inspiration from Marvin Gaye, was taken from his most recent album Love Always Wins. It was among Rated R&B’s Best R&B Albums of 2020 list.
Turning the focus back to Kem and his tour obligations, he’s going out on the road with Babyface for The Full Circle Tour. The North American stretch, hosted by Sherri Shepherd, starts March 30. Tickets are on sale now on ticketmaster.com.
