Slipknot‘s Corey Taylor will be putting out a B-side album of covers and acoustic songs at the end of February.
Taylor revealed the news on SiriusXM‘s Trunk Nation with Eddie Trunk last week. He also said the first single will come out this Friday (Feb. 11), with the CMFT B-sides coming Feb. 25.

The B-sides album follows Taylor‘s debut solo LP, CMFT (an acronym for “Corey Mother Fucking Taylor”), which came out in October 2020.
The first release is a cover of John Caffery & the Beaver Brown Band‘s “On The Dark Side.” The track is, “One of the best rock tunes ever,” according to Taylor (as transcribed by Blabbermouth). “It’s one of our favorites to play live.”
Taylor also said in the interview that he plans to perform some solo shows. “We’re doing little stuff here and there. We just did ShipRocked, which was a lot of fun… It’s looking like we’re gonna do a handful of shows in the U.K. in October, kind of threaded around the Slipknot schedule. So we’re just gonna do it here and there while we kind of gear up [for the next album].”
