Rosé is a member of the K-pop group BLACKPINK formed by YG Entertainment. She was born in New Zealand and raised in Australia, but is now based in South Korea. She released her first solo two-song EP, R, in March 2021.

Rosé seems to be a fan of alternative music, as she also covered Paramore‘s “The Only Exception.” You can watch that video here.

The timing of the song aligned with a more unfortunate event: The band recently had a bunch of gear stolen out of their Bath ITT truck in London. They were lucky enough to have found replacements for their upcoming U.K. tour, but the guitars have a lot of sentimental value for the band.
