Deicide Announce North American Legion Anniversary Tour

Do you know why summer is so hot? It’s because Satan is warming up the Earth so people will go outside and sin more. Sure, that’s that’s a lie I just made up, but I’ll still bet $5 a church somewhere in Missouri has said it. The truth, however, is that summer is so hot because Satan needs the climate on Earth to be more akin to what it is in Hell. You know, so he can go see sick-ass tours, such as the one Deicide just announced for the 30th anniversary of 1992’s Legion.

Starting August 11 in Baton Rogue, Deicide will hit the road and play the Legion in its entirety, along with a score of other tracks from their repertoire. Going with them will be Kataklysm, playing 2004’s Serenity In Fire in its entirety, and fellow Florida death metallers Inhuman Condition. The 29-date tour then wraps up on September 10 in Tampa.

This tour is hitting an incredibly healthy amount of the U.S., so if you make it through June and July and feel like your summer hasn’t been quite evil enough, then go see Deicide and it’ll fix you right up. You can check the dates below:
