The Umbrella Academy season 3 will debut globally June 22, according to showrunner Steve Blackman. Netflix have also released a short teaser video for the season.

The Umbrella Academy is based on a graphic novel series of the same name by Gerard Way. The show features a family of adopted superhero siblings who reunite to solve the mystery of their father’s death — and battle the threat of an impending apocalypse.
Season 3 introduces The Sparrow Academy, a group at odds with The Umbrella Academy. When The Umbrella Academy’s Instagram account posted the teaser video, The Sparrow Academy’s account commented, “Looking forward to kicking some brelly butt.”
Emmy Raver-Lampman recently told Collider that season 3 is going to be “massive,” adding that it has a “completely different energy.”
