Leven Kali is feeling free on his new song “Let It Rain,” which he co-wrote and co-produced with Memmi, Sol Was and Robin Hannibal.
There comes a time when we feel overwhelmed by our emotional baggage. “Let It Rain,” a liberating anthem, sends a reminder to let go of anything that may be weighing you down.
The slick and groovy production paired with Kali’s affirming lyrics is enough to boost one’s mood. Kali chants on the hook, “Let it rain let it go / All the pain that you hold.”
“Let It Rain” is the follow-up to “EEK,” which dropped in February. He mentioned on Instagram that an accompanying video for “Let It Rain” will be coming soon.
Kali has yet to confirm if his two independently released tracks will appear on a future project.
His last album, HIGHTIDE, was released in 2020. It was the sequel to his 2019 LP, Low Tide. Both projects were released on Interscope Records.
Kali is currently on the road with KYLE, supporting his I Miss U Tour. It will conclude on April 21 in San Luis Obispo, California.
