Lion Babe Gets Comfy in ‘Home’ Video

Lion Babe has confirmed turning their Rainbow Child album into a visual project. The duo (vocalist Jillian Harvey and producer Lucas Goodman) work to accomplish this by rolling out a new video for “Home.”

In the self-directed and edited video, Harvey makes tossing and turning in the bed look like art, rocking a dramatic hairstyle and smoky eye makeup. She becomes one with the eggshell bedding, as it doubles for her attire throughout the clip.

Styled in vintage wear, Goodman spends his time in the video playing his guitar near a decorative, three-panel divider, an accent rug, and a globe.

Out of the nine Rainbow Child tracks, “Home” makes their seventh song to receive video treatment. Others include “Radiant Child” and “Frida Kahlo.” The latter was the album’s lead single.

Since Rainbow Child, the duo became parents for the first time in late 2021, celebrating the birth of their son Sunny Rise Goodman.

“Our personal journey up until this point has always been private and sacred,” wrote Lion Babe in a joint statement. “We have always chosen for our music and art to tell our story. But, we couldn’t enter this new chapter without sharing out excitement and love for our baby without you, our support and community.”

In February, Lion Babe churned out another new song titled “Harder,” featuring Busta Rhymes. Its lyric video shortly arrived afterward.
