Aiyana-Lee Releases ‘Make You Love Me’ Video

Aiyana-Lee is spellbinding in the official video for “Make You Love Me.”

The Nayip Ramos-directed video begins with a police officer and an investigator opening the trunk of a seemingly abandoned car. Inside, where confetti pops out, they find a note sealed with a kiss and a potential voodoo doll.

The video’s storyline shifts to what was said to be 24 hours earlier, finding Aiyana-Lee playing a temptress in a red-glitzy getup. She prances in a well-stocked bar where no patrons are seated.

She soon has an even better reason to sashay around the bar when a male customer enters the scene. You’ll have to watch the full video to see how the gentlemen drinker, the note, and the doll are connected.

In a statement, Aiyana-Lee shared how the “Make You Love Me” video segues from the visual to “Gangster of Love,” the lead single to her Wednesday’s Child (Side A) project.

“I wanted to create a world with each video, showcasing a different side to me and elaborating on an even bigger story! There’s a puzzle and Easter eggs throughout the entirety of this experience,” said Aiyana-Lee.

Aiyana-Lee released Wednesday’s Child (Side A) in February. The seven-track project, produced entirely by Grammy-winning musician Neff-U, featured standouts “Love U Later” and “Rich Kids.”

“We’re all dealt a tough hand in life, no matter who we are. Going through troubled times and being an outcast, feeling like the world is out to get you, is something we can all relate to,” said Aiyanna-Lee in a statement about the story of the EP.

The seven songs from Wednesday’s Child (Side A) will help make up her full-length project Wednesday’s Child. That project comes out later this year.
