The Interrupters return

The Interrupters have been keeping busy. Prior to supporting Green Day, Weezer and Fall Out Boy on the Hella Mega tour last year, the band built their own home studio and created an album during the COVID lockdowns. Now, they’ll see the fruits of their labor when new album In The Wild comes out this August. Here’s hoping they preview the new material when they kick off a tour with Flogging Molly in June. You can get tickets here.

Motionless In White are a “Masterpiece”

Motionless In White are back with another new single. Ahead of new album Scoring The End Of The World, Motionless In White dropped “Masterpiece.” It’s a song that embodies the band’s ability to be both tender and frank — and a reminder that we’re never alone. Watch Motionless In White play the song from an abandoned home here, and remember to preorder/presave the new record, which arrives in June.

The world of 100 gecs is nothing but vibrant

100 gecs are a lovably bizarre sensation. In new single “Doritos & Fritos,” the duo of Laura Les and Dylan Brady imagine one wacky scenario after the next (see: eating burritos with Danny DeVito). Sonically, the pair lean into ’90s alt-rock influences, a pivot that’s perfectly suited for AP readers. Listen to the track now in preparation for their sophomore album, 10000 gecs.

Magnolia Park visit “Tokyo”

Magnolia Park are always full of surprises. This time, they’ve reimagined Tokyo as a dystopian vista on a new single that shares a title with the bustling city. The band teamed up with Christo Bowman of Bad Suns on the new track, which you can listen to here. Additionally, Magnolia Park are kicking off a tour in June, and you can grab tickets for the run right here.

Stand Atlantic say f*ck everything and run

For their new album, Stand Atlantic wrote songs that reflected what was rattling in their heads — anxiety, doubt, dread. The result is F.E.A.R. (short for “Fuck Everything And Run”), and it’s their most relentless material yet. Ahead of the release, the band dropped another new single called “switchblade.” Listen to the track here, and don’t forget to preorder/presave the record.
