Tim Kasher (Cursive, the Good Life) has released his new solo album, Middling Age, via Passenger Records. Check out the release below.

“I set out to make something spare, intimate, an album stripped of excess arrangements, focusing more on the basics of songwriting,” Kasher exclusively tells Alternative Press. “Alas, I didn’t quite achieve my goals, as it’s far too tempting to add drums and bass and strings and horns to the mix. I’m more than happy to have done so, of course, and the record is far better for it.
“I suppose the eternal daydream is hoping people truly embrace the record, connect with it, find something universal in it that resonates with them,” he continues. “As a music fan, that’s what I’m always looking for; as a songwriter, that’s what I’m always trying to achieve.”
