Alexis Marie Becomes Artist-To-Watch With New Video, “Mind Control”

After amassing a large following for herself with a series of beautiful covers, emerging recording artist Alexis Marie has shared new visual for her lead single “Mind Control,” streaming now.

The Memphis-raised singer-songwriter-composer, who takes her creativity to new heights by gaining inspiration from numerous genres in order to stay well-rounded, is capitalizing on her newfound popularity with her debut project that is set to release later this year.

Covered in her soulful vocals, which are accredited to her church roots, “Mind Control” is a formal introduction from the multi-talented songbird. It’s simply exuberant. Marie’s video sees her compelled by a hypnotizing love while barricaded in her home.

“Mind control is a superpower,” says Marie in the song’s press release. “An action that causes a power so strong and extraordinary it takes over your brain, consumes your thoughts, and controls your actions. Once you have mind control over someone, you cannot stop thinking about them.  I hope this song does the same thing for my listeners; I want to give them quality music that’s relatable. Music that they want to listen to over and over.”

In 2020, Marie’s music was showcased on a popular radio show, and premiered her upcoming sound in the release of the two previous singles “The Wait” and “Broken Promises.”

Simultaneously sharing “Mind Control,” and another single titled “CNN”, both are leading up to a forthcoming album from the new artist, which is sure to leave an indelible mark on her listeners, and the music industry.
