Suspect In Trouble’s Murder Surrenders

Two days after the fatal shooting of rapper Trouble, the suspect in the fatal shooting surrendered to authorities on Tuesday morning (June 7).

On Monday, Rockdale County Sheriff’s deputies searched the familiar areas of 33-year-old Jamichael Jones of Atlanta which soon lead them to his mother’s house.

Sheriff Eric Levett said his mother was instrumental in his surrender following their phone conversation where the police convinced Jones to surrender. Jones picked a time and location and he was arrested at 1 am at a hospital in Clayton County “without incident”. Jones is facing felony murder, aggravated assault, battery and home invasion charges.

On Sunday (June 5), Trouble was fatally shot while visiting a female friend in what investigators believed was a “domestic situation”. The rapper was shot once in the chest and died at the scene. He was 34.
