SZA Honors 5 Years Of ‘CTRL’ With A Deluxe

Happy 5th CTRL!

Five years after releasing her long-awaited album CTRL, SZA revisits the classic debut on its 5th anniversary with its deluxe version.

The re-release now concludes with seven additional and unreleased tracks including an alternate version of “Love Galore”, “2AM”, and “Miles”, followed by “Percolator”, “Tread Carefully”, “Awkward”, and “Jodie”.

Released on June 9, 2017, CTRL debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 charts. The 14-track set included the hits “Love Galore” and “The Weekend“, as well as the favorites “Supermodel“, “Broken Clocks“, “Drew Barrymore“, and “Garden (Say It Like Dat)“. A year later, the critically-acclaimed album earned SZA five Grammy nominations and it was certified double-platinum in 2020.
