Ghostface Killah and Raekwon Rap About Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on “We Ain’t Came to Lose”: Stream

Whether they’re dealing with half a brick or heroes in the half shell, Ghostface Killah and Raekwon are always ready to beat down some “fake ninjas.” They prove as much on “We Ain’t Came to Lose,” a new song that covers the joys of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and appears in the video game Shredder’s Revenge.

Composer Tee Lopes handled the “We Ain’t Come to Lose” beat, with throwback sounds that made the Wu-Tang Clan members feel right at home. Here, the old friends find themselves on different sides of the reptilian war. Ghost is in straight villain mode, boasting, “I defeat Leonardo, y’all become the weaklings/ I take off all of your masks and dismantle your features/ Shredder, I crossed the line like a letter/ Smash all of you turtles, put you back together.”

Meanwhile, Raekwon the Chef cooks up a plan for good to prevail, and yes it includes dinner. “With heroes in the half shell going to war,” he raps, “Got the city on the siege and they holdin’ the fort/ Got extra large pizza boxes all on the floor.” Check out “We Ain’t Came to Lose” below.
