In case you missed it, Ozzy Osbourne went in for a major operation on Monday that his wife and manager Sharon said would “determine the rest of his life.” Now, according to Sharon’s Twitter, there’s no need for alarm, as Ozzy is doing well post-surgery.
Here’s what Sharon tweeted at the world:
“Our family would like to express much gratitude for the overwhelming amount of love and support leading up to Ozzy’s surgery! Ozzy is doing well and on the road to recovery! Your love means the world to him.”
Whew. This is good news. Obviously, the recovery from this operation will be a long and arduous process — recovering from any serious surgery is tough, even when you’re not as old as Ozzy is — but it’s good to hear that he’s coming out of it in a decent physical and/or mental state. That’s step one towards a decent recovery.
Ozzy, we’re rooting for you. If there’s anything we can do, let us know. You want some Fripp and Toyah videos? You sure? People seem to really like them.
