Over dark organs from Kino Beats, Tariq Beats, and Phonix Beats, the Long Beach rapper references his come up and balancing wealth. In the accompanying video, directed by James Mackel, Ray portrays a forklift driver who comes home from work to a neighborhood depicted by mannequins.
“Mannequin” is Ray’s third track of the year following May’s “Potential” and “Picking Cherries” in April.
