Omarion is ready to speak his truth in form of a five-part docuseries titled Omega: The Gift & The Curse. It will premiere Friday, July 21 on YouTube.
As told from the former B2K member’s perspective, Omega: The Gift & The Curse will give fans an inside look at behind-the-scenes drama during The Millennium Tour.
Omarion will open up about the betrayal he experienced after the mother of his child started dating his B2K bandmate.
The docuseries also will uncover “the covert sabotage orchestrated for one bandmate towards another as well as the toxic family influences that further contributed to the downfall of B2K.”
Omarion went to Instagram to share a statement about the impending docuseries. “For too long I’ve felt misunderstood & manipulated by the games people play especially when accountability from others has been obsolete. I own my parts in the story -but do you? Respect is what I give to everyone & it’s what I deserve in return,” he wrote.
“Being unbothered doesn’t mean that you ignore your emotions or how you feel. Being unbothered means that you don’t give someone else your power & YOU decide how to respond instead of reacting. Reacting to everything is a disadvantage because it’s thoughtLESS and doesn’t serve you. Standing up for yourself during challenging times is essential to staying centered and maintaining your peace.

As mentioned, Omega: The Gift & The Curse is inspired by The Millennium Tour headlined by B2K in 2019. The first leg included special guests Mario, Ying Yang Twins, Lloyd, Bobby V, Pretty Ricky and Chingy. It was nominated for Top R&B Tour at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards.
The second leg of The Millennium Tour kicked off in October 2021, after being postponed due to the pandemic. Co-headlined by Omarion and Bow Wow, the tour featured new supporting acts Ashanti, Sammie and Soulja Boy.
Omarion has more than a docuseries coming up. On Sept. 13, he will release his self-help book, Unbothered: The Power of Choosing Joy.
The book shows how Omarion “has centered his life around holistic wellness, detailing the practices he uses including breathing exercises, meditation, yoga, dancing, ancient mantras, and an overall embrace of positivity.”
Last month, Omarion participated in a Verzuz celebration with Mario, which attracted more than 5.1 million viewers. Bobby V, Ray J, Pleasure P and Sammie partook in the pre-show battle.
