Kyle Dion Shares New Song ‘Spoon & Bang’

Kyle Dion is back. The Los Angeles-based artist has shared his new song “Spoon & Bang,” produced by Soran Atole and co-written by Dion and Michel Simard.

On this track, Dion conveys a sweet message to his partner, suggesting that his favorite place is under them. He’d rather chill at home, with his body connecting with them in hopes those their butt rubs against his tool is a reason to mess up the bed again.

Dion sings, “Really want to stay here / And lay with you in bed / All day, all day, all day / We got bills to pay / But I’d rather spoon and bang / All day, all day, all day / Don’t you wanna do the same?”

“Spoon & Bag” shows up with a lo-fi visualizer starring Joyce Wrice as his love interest. The clip sees Dion and Wrice in full character as lovebirds, gazing into each other’s eyes, sharing laughs and cuddling up a storm.

“Spoon & Bag” is one of two new tracks that Dion plans to put on the forthcoming deluxe edition of Sassy, his sophomore album released last September. The other track, “Hazy,” featuring Tkay Maidza, was released in February 2021.

Sassy arrived after four songs preceded its release. Several guests appeared, including Kari Faux, Duckwrth, Ja Rule and Channel Tres.

Bad, one of my favorite albums from Michael [Jackson], was a pop-leading album and kind of this bad attitude in his own way,” Dion shares of Sassy‘s inspiration. “I feel like this [album] was my rendition of that in a sense of a bit of pop, giving more attitude, being a little raunchy, and just having fun and being who I really am.”

On Oct. 1, Dion will support his new music and other material at the All Things Go Music Festival in Columbia, Maryland. The one-day event will be held at the Merriweather Post Pavilion. Tickets are available now.

Dion was scheduled to perform at this year’s Day N Vegas Festival; however, it recently was canceled due to a “combination of logistics, timing and production issues.”
