Kendrick Lamar brought out Kodak Black during his headlining set at Rolling Loud Miami 2022 last night (July 24). The two performed the Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers song “Silent Hill” together. Black played a Rolling Loud set of his own earlier in the day, and the performances marked his first live appearances following his arrest for felony drug charges in July. Kodak Black wasn’t the only notable guest at Rolling Loud Miami this weekend. After canceling his headlining set less than a week before it was supposed to happen, Kanye West decided to show up after all, joining Lil Durk to perform “Hot Shit” and “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1.” Kid Cudi stepped in to fill West’s shoes at Rolling Loud, but he cut his set short after audience members began pelting him with trash.
Last week, Kendrick Lamar kicked off his lengthy 2022 tour in support of Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. The rapper will be on the road on through the end of the year with openers Baby Keem and Tanna Leone. Mr. Morale, which came out on May 13, includes guest contributions from Ghostface Killah, Beth Gibbons, Sampha, and Summer Walker in addition to Keem, Leone, and Kodak Black.
